Hello, my name is Demi. I come from China. It is a great pleasure to meet you on italki and I am happy to help you learn Chinese. My major in university is Chinese as a foreign language, that means teaching Chinese to foreigners. In addition, I have lived in France and Canada, so I speak fluently both English and French. 我曾经在四川师范大学教过留学生中文，他们来自韩国、法国以及美国。之后，我又在法国做过中文教师，学生的年龄从4岁至60岁不等。我比较有耐心，课堂比较有趣，也能够针对学生的不同水平和需要制定不同的上课计划，所以学生们都很喜欢我。
I used to teach Chinese to international students at Sichuan Normal University. They come from South Korea, France and the United States. After that, I worked as a Chinese teacher in France. The age of the students ranged from 4 to 60 years old. Demi evaluated my son for his Mandarin capabilities. She spoke primarily in Mandarin which my son was uncomfortable with but I think it will expedite his Mandarin lessons and he will be more comfortable as the lessons continue. I’m happy that she insisted he speak in Mandarin and that she’s already starting to teach him how to have conversations.
