Hey there! My name is Luisa, I'm 27 years old and from southern Germany. I know firsthand how challenging learning a new language can be—I started from zero with Spanish and English myself. But I also know how to make the process engaging, motivating, and even fun! With deep insight into both language acquisition and the psychology of learning, I’ve developed effective strategies that make mastering a new language faster, easier, more intuitive and overall: FUN! Because we learn best when enjoying :) I don't work in a 9 to 5, so I'm super flexible and can adapt to your schedule. I also LOVE preparing people tests/certificats for the Goethe, TELC, TOEFL etc. - so let's get you going! I studied German for Foreigners, English & Spanish in the Bachelor of Education in Germany & Spain & worked as a teacher in Germany, Spain and Chile. Due to that I can explain trilangual with clarity and structure as well as understand where your difficulties might come from and solve your problems with you. Outside of italki, I work as an emotional coach, which deeply influences my language coaching. Through mindset work, I help learners overcome mental barriers, build confidence, and develop a natural, intuitive connection to the language. My specific focus is on language coaching, which goes beyond traditional language lessons. Instead of just teaching grammar and vocabulary (which is also available), I help you develop the confidence and skills to use the language naturally in real-life situ...

We are learning German with Luisa two-on-one and it has been really great. She is very flexible and lets us focus on topics that we most need to focus on, adapting as we go without forcing a particular curriculum. She provides good learning tools and practice on topics that have perhaps not been so clear in prior classes. She is extremely patient even when we get frustrated or are disappointed. Her classes and homework are always well-structured and thoughtful.

Der Unterricht ist sehr effektiv und macht Spaß. Wir führen viele Gespräche, wodurch ich mein mündliches Ausdrucksvermögen stetig verbessere. Neben interessanten Grammatikeinheiten gibt es spannende Aufgaben, die mir helfen, die Sprache im Alltag gezielt anzuwenden. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann die Lehrerin nur weiterempfehlen.
