Hello, everyone! I am Elena. I am from Guangzhou, a city in south China.
My Chinese name is Jiaxian; I am a native speaker of Mandarin and Cantonese.

I already have 7 years of experience in online teaching, with certification to teach Chinese and English to adults and children. Also, I have completed IELTS teacher training courses with a certificate.
When I was in New Zealand for a working holiday a few years ago, I realized that learning their language is always the best way to know more about different cultures. That's why I want to help people who learn about the Chinese language and culture. We talked about our day and weekends as usual, which I was able to talk a lot about. She's very approachable, easy to talk to. After talking about our weekends and other things, we moved the reading materials, which opened up more questions regarding the topics in them. When I wanted to know a word and ask my teacher about it, she would let me know which to use, how to say it, and write it down for me to review. Her way of teaching is great!
