This has been an incredible experience. She is truly amazing, always clear in her explanations, attentive to my progress, and genuinely celebrates every success I achieve. Donatella encouragement motivates me to keep improving. Donatella consistently provides valuable information and enriches our lessons with additional materials that make learning both effective and enjoyable. Homework is always meaningful, and she takes the time to go over any doubts I have with patience and care. Her style is engaging and supportive. I feel lucky to that I choose the correct one !

Each lesson I have with Donatella is always extremely insightful, educational, and beneficial. I am always learning so many new things about the Italian language and culture. Also, her teaching techniques are incredibly effective. I am now able to have conversations about many different topics with my family and friends! If you want to start sounding like a native Italian, you should check her out!

Donatella has done an excellent job preparing me for the CILS B1 Cittadinanza that I'm scheduled to take next month. She's had me practice all four sections (ascolto, lettura, scritta, orale) and has provided good feedback. I'll continue weekly sessions with her to concentrate on speaking. She also assigns work outside of our sessions (such as writing) that she quickly reviews at the start of each lesson. I'm feeling more confident about passing the CILS B1 C (but I still need to work on my speaking!).

Donatella è un'ottima insegnante che lavora sempre per creare delle lezioni secondo ai bisogni degli studenti. Mi ha aiutato con il mio vocabolario e la grammatica per provare la sfida dell'esame di CILS B2, sempre pensando delle mie competenze e difficoltà. Ha delle idee diverse per ogni lezioni e ha fatto uno sforzo per veramente conoscermi. Ho imparato tanto della lingua e la cultura italiana con Donatella e mi sono divertita moltissimo. Grazie mille Donatella!!!

I truly cannot speak more highly of Donatella as an Italian teacher. My schedule is quite hectic and she has been extremely flexible when it comes to tailoring lessons around my work, and times when I needed to ramp up or down the intensity of lessons. My focus in trying to learn Italian was for taking a test within a certain period of time, and Donatella immediately assembled a curriculum based on my needs and level going in. But equally, I think she would be a great teacher for a less structured lesson, just chatting and improving grasp on the language. I did interview a number of different teachers, when first starting to use the iTalki platform and it was immediately apparent after a few “interviews” that Donatella was the best. The only hesitation I have leaving this review, is that I selfishly don’t want to compete with others for her precious time. But truly, I could not recommend her more.
