Olivier, 36 ans, né à Bordeaux. Avant d’être tuteur, j’ai travaillé auprès des enfants mais aussi fonctionnaire dans l’administration publique en charge du tourisme dans une ville du Sud Ouest.
J’aime les voyages, j’ai la chance d’avoir visiter tous les continents et un tour du monde. J’aime les sujets de société qui concernent le quotidien et la vie de chacun, l’actualité, la culture, la géopolitique... je suis quelqu’un de curieux, qui apprécie découvrir et apprendre de nouvelles choses. Je considère que si tu es là, c’est que tu as besoin de pratiquer ton expression et ton écoute, par conséquent je me concentre essentiellement sur la discussion et de préférence spontanée. Les cours structurés et planifiés à l’avance ne me conviennent donc aucun manuels, devoirs ou préparations à prévoir. Je peux aussi t’aider à préparer un examen sur la partie orale ou écrite.

Simple discussion, débat ou jeu de rôle. Pratique le français de manière spontanée. Pas de cours, d'exercices, ni de thèmes imposés.

On discutera de sujets différents pour que tu puisses améliorer ton vocabulaire et ta facilité à t’exprimer en français. Le principe est d’améliorer ton expression et gagner en confiance. Les résultats seront là avec de la persévérance et de la pratique, en acceptant les erreurs et sans pression.

Please note, I don’t use textbooks.
My approach is mainly based on oral practice around small games. I wish is to improve the comprehension and the practice of the language. I can teach children who do not yet know how to speak or understand using adapted documents in a playful way. I have worked with children and I have good interpersonal skills. Olivier has been key in my learning and understanding of the French language. He is patient, corrects mistakes quickly and is supportive of your learning style. He is very relaxed and easy to converse with on many topics and is sincere. I have been studying French for almost two years now and I would not have made the progress I have without his help. Olivier is extremely easy to talk to. He keeps the flow of conversation moving and always has a light energy about him. We laugh a lot during our lessons. He is gentle and lighthearted about corrections to my grammar or supplying new vocabulary as I'm reaching for it. My toddler son loves him and Olivier always tries to engage him in French during our conversations, which is exactly what I look for in a teacher -- somebody who can easily respond to multiple needs at a time. I highly recommend Olivier and plan to continue taking his lessons indefinitely into the future.

Olivier is excellent. I've just finished a lesson and feel exhilarated with how he is helping me to progress. It's important to feel a rapport and he makes me comfortable even when I make errors which he kindly and gently corrects. He is compassionate and understanding. Wow, very cool first lesson with Olivier - he was warm, helpful, professional and very engaging during our class. We hit it off the bat and I'm looking forward to our next classes - the friendly disposition and energy kept me enthusiastic en francais! : )
