Ryusei

りゅせいは最強です！

Infinitely thankful to Ryusei for his continuous help. He's one of the most understanding and accommodating teachers I've ever had. The gargantuan task of learning a language feels very tangible with the right help and I consider myself very lucky to have found it! :)

Ryusei-sensei was very kind and flexible, arranging a better time for my first class. The sound quality was crystal clear (thanks to his professional mic!), which made the lesson very comfortable. He guided me patiently from scratch, and even though I was anxious as a complete beginner, he created a pleasant and supportive atmosphere. Unlike some teachers who lack patience in this process, Ryusei-sensei shows only safe, professional guidance with a high level of emotional intelligence. He could teach any level as he knows how to get you to the next level.

Ryusei 先生 is very calm, caring and encouraging. Usually, I find it hard to answer questions and maintain a conversation but he is able to provide a conducive environment to facilitate the conversation. Thankful for the engaging session.

I think a sense of competence is of extreme importance to any student in any kind of learning journey. Feeling like you are capable of achieving your goals, that they are within your reach is a priceless fuel that leads us to success. It is the teacher's job to foster an environment conductive to that; although that can be an extremely delicate and, honestly, hard feat to accomplish. Still, Ryusei does it so effortlessly, you as a student leave every class feeling like a pro at Japanese! Honestly can't recommend him enough! :)

Ryusei can make any conversation on any topic flow seamlessly, it's honestly very impressive! He adapts his language to my level and helps me out with the words I don't understand all while keeping the pace of the conversation flowing naturally. Every class is extremely fun and engaging, as I learn a lot about culture and history too :)
