My name is Ryusei, and I’m from Nara, Japan — a place famous for its temples, history, and friendly deer.
Outside of teaching, I have a variety of interests. I like visiting art museums, basketball, and also hearing your stories, experiences, and ideas is one of the things I enjoy most. As a teacher, I value flexibility. Every student has different backgrounds, and the most effective way to master a language varies from person to person, so I always adjust my lessons to fit what you need. Thankfully, my students often tell me that I have a calm and relaxed way of teaching, which makes it easier for them to speak without feeling nervous.
Ultimately, I want to be a teacher who listens carefully and encourages you. I’ll do my best to guide you in your Japanese learning journey, while making sure you always feel comfortable and motivated.

However, one thing that never changes is my commitment to creating a supportive and engaging environment where you can build confidence in using Japanese and make steady progress.

Ryusei 先生 is very calm, caring and encouraging. Usually, I find it hard to answer questions and maintain a conversation but he is able to provide a conducive environment to facilitate the conversation. Thankful for the engaging session.

I enjoyed my conversation lessons with Ryusei 先生. I liked the choice of questions posed, and was able to have natural conversations. During lessons, I can ask for feedback, clarifications and questions. Ryusei 先生 is able to provide these with patience. He is able to converse at your level and provide a comfortable atmosphere for the conversation to take place.
