Wagner Bombonato

Wagner is a great teacher. He corrects errors and even pronunciation. He also writes many notes in the chat to explain or clarify things or to answer questions. He often shares internet images in the platform to help describe things. He teaches structured lessons, something many community teachers are not capable of doing. He uses PDF or PowerPoint files to teaching speaking, listening, and reading. I you prefer, he can also have conversations or do a combination of some conversation and some structured teaching in the same lesson. He knows some Spanish and English, which is helpful for a beginner level students like me. His easygoing personality creates a good learning environment. He first identifies a student’s level and teaches accordingly. At my beginner level, I have difficulty having an extended conversation. So, I need structured lessons during some part of the class, which is something that Wager can provide.

I’ve been learning foreign languages for the past 10 years and have met many different teachers. Wagner is my favourite! He uses an excellent teaching method, has a lot of experience, transmits a real passion for languages and above all he is big-hearted. I feel like a beloved member of my family is teaching me Portuguese. Try a lesson and see it for yourself 😉

This lesson was so much fun and I learned so much! I really enjoyed the song at the end of the lesson. It was a great mix of grammar and vocabulary and Wagner did a great job at giving encouragement and helpful feedback on my pronunciation and grammar mistakes.

Wagner is always extremely prepared and energetic. His lessons are both fun and educational, and he puts a lot of work into the material. I highly recommend him as a Portuguese teacher.
