I am a mother of four who lives in Ohio in the United States. In addition to teaching English, I also enjoy learning Japanese, teaching yoga, weight lifting, painting, taking portraits, and traveling. I have traveled to more than 30 countries. I have lived in Japan, Mexico, England, and Poland. My favorite city in the US is Sedona, Arizona. My favorite city in the world is Queretaro, Mexico. I spend my days homeschooling my children.

I have a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in English with a concentration in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I have more than twenty years of experience. I have taught English in the United States, Mexico, and Poland. I have more than 20,000 classes on-line to more than 4000 different students. I have taught all ages and levels. Students comment to me that they appreciate my patience, enthusiasm, and focus. I provide corrections with positivity and encouragement. I am known for my clear, distinct enunciation and standard Midwestern accent and accurate pronunciation. Students also tell me they appreciate that I am able provide corrections with understandable explanations. I enjoy creating materials to help visual learners grasp new words and concepts. I have a large collection of photos and slides to spark conversation and demonstrate meaning. I provide homework and learning materials as needed. I adapt the lesson to the learning style, level, personality, and needs of each student. I am enthusiastic and dedicated to filling each minute of class with as much learning as possible! Meeting Stephanie was a stroke of luck. From the first class, it was amazing. She has a ton of resources to help with your learning process, in all the areas (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and speaking). I am incredibly fortunate to have Stephanie as my English teacher. Her lessons are always well-organized, and the way she approaches teaching is both respectful and engaging. I genuinely look forward to each session, as she has a wonderful ability to make learning fun and relevant to my interests. The homework she assigns is thoughtfully designed to reinforce what we've covered in class, and I always feel like I'm making progress. Stephanie’s method of focusing on topics that are directly related to me makes the learning experience much more personal and enjoyable. I couldn't ask for a better teacher!
