Hi, I’m Lim from Korea! :) I’ve had a deep passion for languages and cultures since childhood, and I love sharing that enthusiasm with others. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Korean and English Language and Literature, specializing in Second Language Acquisition. After graduating, I worked as a journalist for a year, which allowed me to develop strong writing and speaking skills through full-time journalism work.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I’m passionate not only about learning foreign languages but also about teaching Korean to international learners. During my university years, I taught Korean to exchange students from diverse backgrounds, helping them achieve their language goals. I regularly corrected their Korean journal entries and assisted them in improving their conversational skills in both formal and informal settings.
Through these experiences, I realized that knowing a language and teaching it effectively are two very different things. This realization motivated me to study Second Language Acquisition more deeply, leading me to take extensive TESOL/TKSOL courses in college. บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
As a former journalist, I can help you improve both your speaking fluency and writing skills. I provide corrections and feedback, which we’ll review together at the end of each class. If you prefer casual conversation practice without textbooks, I can prepare engaging materials for you.

I’m always grateful for 정은 쌤 for her clear explanation and enthusiasm in teaching. She devotes a lot in preparing each lesson and is always to happy to tailor make the content based on my interest. Mostly important we share lots of common interests, from history to pop culture, politics and languages. Today we continued our discussion on Korean politics and midterm election, and then talked about the currently very popular drama Queen of Tears. On top of this, we still managed to go through my homework and learnt a few more adjectives of emotions!!

I made a little mistake last time. Today IS the special occasion - our 120th lesson! But my comment still holds - JE sseam is simply the best teacher on italki I have met. Today we continued our discussion on multiculturalism and racial discrimination. Fantastic discussion as always. Look forward to our next lesson, we will go back to the classic issue of regionalism in Korea!
