I’m always grateful for 정은 쌤 for her clear explanation and enthusiasm in teaching. She devotes a lot in preparing each lesson and is always to happy to tailor make the content based on my interest. Mostly important we share lots of common interests, from history to pop culture, politics and languages. Today we continued our discussion on Korean politics and midterm election, and then talked about the currently very popular drama Queen of Tears. On top of this, we still managed to go through my homework and learnt a few more adjectives of emotions!!

정은 씨 덕분에 토픽 시험 잘 볼 수 있어서 짧은 시간에 6급이나 받게 됐어요! 의견을 나누는 게 항상 재미있고 정은 씨의 다양한 언론과 한국어에 대한 자식이 뛰어나다고 생각해요. 기회가 되면 꼭 한번 정은 씨의 수업 들어 보세요~ :)

We had another great conversation today. This time we focused mostly on the linguistic history of Korean (vs. other East Asian languages), based on a book chapter we were beginning to read. Each lesson with sseam is now not only about learning Korean language but also a lot more about its history and culture. I am so gratefully for the efforts and time sseam has made for me over the years. Thank you so much!

정은 씨‘s lessons are extremely organised and informative. Various useful expressions and grammar points are taught based on a wide range of interesting topics and are further reinforced through sample sentences and in-dept discussions. I could not have been happier with the progress I have made so far under the guidance of 정은 씨 ☺️♥️

오늘은 우리 계속 한국어 역사에 관한 토론을 계속 재밌게 이었어요. 단어와 표현도 않이 배우고 한국어에 관련된 지식도 많이 알게 됐어요. ^^ 선생님, 감사합니다!

Today we had another wonderful conversation class! We first talked about my recent everyday life and sseam’s recent travel experiences. Then we moved on to the historical terms in Chosun period which was very interesting. We have decided to study further old Korean language(s) in our next lesson, really looking forward to that! 😊
