Saima ji is an absolutely brilliant teacher! She is always incredibly professional, and so patient and kind. She tailors lessons meticulously to the individual; at my trial lesson, she made sure to get a real understanding of my level of Punjabi so that she could adjust her teaching to my needs. My particular situation is complex, in that I can read Punjabi but I am unable to speak it, so she is focusing our lessons on building my vocabulary and helping me to learn the grammatical basics that I was never able to build. She has also been encouraging me lots to speak Punjabi, patiently assisting with my mistakes and giving me the in-depth explanations I ask for. She also provides suggestions for different media to read/watch outside of lessons to help expand my learning. I always look forward to my lessons, and I can already notice such an improvement in my Punjabi! Tuhada boht boht shukriya, Saima ji!

Professor Saima Ji is a wonderful Punjabi teacher. She is very responsive to student needs, and has created learning materials that emphasize vocabulary practice, conversational phrases, and grammar. In only a few weeks I have felt my comfort with the language grow immensely, and I am looking forward for future lessons!

I feel my reading speed getting faster. Managed to finish the leftover 70% of a paragraph with 1.5 hours. not bad.

Saimaji is an awesome teacher. She taught me how to read and write Urdu from scratch! We always have conversations about interesting topics in class. She is also very flexible and a generous human being.
