I prefer to teach in a more informal, relaxed and conversational style. I believe that speaking skills are crucial to learning a new language. From personal experience, I have found the most enjoyable and effective way to learn a language is through conversation. During the talk, I can correct and help you understand any mistakes.

Great conversation. A very patient teacher that speaks slow and clearly which helps a lot! Asked some very basic questions about myself and then allowed me to move the conversation to more higher level topics and then helped me word sentences correctly. I really think this kind of lesson is what a student needs to really start making progress, which is just talking!

Helen is a wonderful teacher. She takes the time to find lessons suited to your ability, and she is great at teaching pronunciation. I have really enjoyed my lessons with her and I highly recommend her no matter what your level is.

This teacher is absolutely the best fit for my way of learning. Patient and flexible and with a desire to see a person succeed in their goals. I'm very fortunate to have found her and now am a big fan of the iTalkie platform as a result.
