Isabela is an incredible teacher! very patient, supportive and knowledgeable. She has really helped to improve my Portuguese and made the process very enjoyable.

Isabela is soft spoken and smiles the whole time. She made me feel comfortable and casual. She spoke to me the entire time in Portuguese, and if I didn’t understand something she would repeat it or explain it differently until I got it. She asked me questions about who I was, where I’m from, what I do for work, and got to know me a bit. She also told me about herself which was nice to feel a casual connection and not just a strictly business relationship or transactional. She asked me to read a few paragraph to get a grasp of my level of Portuguese, and she gave me home work to work on before our next lesson together. She’s going to send me a few podcasts, movies, and series to listen and read CC in Portuguese and talk out loud to practice. I really enjoyed the lesson and her style.
