Pavy

Pavy is super good. Her style matches mine very well, flowing conversations in which we can discuss fun things while practicing speaking, plus dedicated exercises for the things I don't get well yet. Highly recommend :)

This was the best lesson on italki I have ever had! I joined italki in 2020 to begin my journey learning High German in order to work in Switzerland. I have used plus 30 teachers in my journey with varying degrees of success. I started with Pavy to learn Swiss German and improve High German. Today my lesson with Pavy was role playing in my profession. Before the session, I was nervous and wasn't as confident as I would like to be. Once we started the session, of course I made plenty of errors, but continued to focus on what Pavy was saying and the process. She was so patient and reassuring that by the end of the session, I felt great. Why, because I gained the confidence through her instruction that I can do this! She has a super solid program set up to learn either Swiss or High German and is flexible to adapt to my specific needs. The lessons are done in a logical and professional manner that represents her passion for teaching. Her super personality is a great plus.

Pavy is simply the best! I have been studying with her for more than a year now, and in the course of these two years, I passed the Goethe B1 and then the Goethe B2 tests. She is not only the best at explaining things and tailoring lessons to your exact level and needs, but she also offers tailor-made materials. The lessons are very packed and interesting. I have tried various approaches to learning German, and learning with Pavy is by far the best. Highly, highly recommended. Pavy ist einfach die Beste! Ich studiere jetzt schon seit über einem Jahr mit ihr, und im Verlauf dieser zwei Jahre habe ich die Goethe B1- und dann die Goethe B2-Prüfungen bestanden. Sie ist nicht nur die Beste darin, Dinge zu erklären und Unterricht genau an dein Niveau und deine Bedürfnisse anzupassen, sondern sie bietet auch massgeschneidertes Material an.Die Unterrichtsstunden sind sehr intensiv und interessant.Mit Pavy zu lernen ist bei weitem das Beste von dem, was ich ausprobiert habe.Sehr empfehlenswert.
