Jefferson is truly and incredible teacher! I recently completed my 100th lesson with him and feel so grateful for his expertise and patience. Jefferson is very patient and supportive, when it comes to pronunciation. He takes the time to sound out words and write out phonetics. It is comfortable and encouraging.

I have been taking lessons for quite some time with Jefferson, and I can say that he is an excellent teacher; as well as a kind and genuine human being. His approach as a teacher, that is to say, the methods, and materials that he uses, are carefully selected in accordance to your needs as student, regardless of the level of understanding you already might have in the language. In addition, he is a good listener, one who is willing to collaborate with the learner to bring out the student's interests and precise needs. Accordingly, he will integrate these particular needs and interests that the student has into his lessons, thereby making each lesson with Jefferson all the more enriching. I know I will continue to rely on Jefferson as a cornerstone teacher and guide in my Portuguese learning journey.

I really enjoy my lessons with Jefferson. He is very patient and gives me space to find the right words before jumping in to correct, which really helps my brain process the language. He corrects my mistakes gently and focuses a lot on conversation. I feel like I’m improving with every class
