Hi, my name is Nika, I'm from Zagreb, Croatia and I'm looking forward to teach Italian on Italki. When I was a little girl, my parents brought me a doll from Italy, but not just any doll. It was a long curly hair doll, taller than me, that could walk and sing in Italian! I think that was the moment I fell in love with the Italian language. I was so happy when, in high school, I got the opportunity to study Italian as a second foreign language and when it came to choose my major at the university, I had no doubt, or the Italian language and literature or nothing :).

I really loved Nika´s vibe, very authentic! I am definitely going to contact her again :) She seems to adapt to students needs and mood of the day.

In addition to structured materials and excellent teaching methodology, Nika has inexhaustible patience and energy, so she managed to create and maintain a high level of engagement for the entire 60 minutes. As a teacher myself, I know that this is very difficult to achieve with some students (and my daughter is unfortunately one such students), but with Nika she stayed focused and I could actually see progress by the end of the lesson. Thank you for another great lesson, Nika!
