Hello! I’m Annie—a bohemian polyglot, writer, and lifelong teacher with a passion for language and cross-cultural connection. Originally from England, I’ve lived in 8 countries (and visited 70!), giving me deep insight into diverse perspectives—perfect for lively, nuanced conversations. Fluent in Spanish and German, I specialize in helping advanced English learners refine fluency, pronunciation, and IELTS skills with creativity and precision. When not teaching, I’m often writing, painting, or tending my Ecuadorian garden, weaving art and etymology into lessons. Let’s make language learning as vibrant as life itself!ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I began teaching Shiatsu and health-related topics in 1995 in the UK, and from 2003-2005 taught English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) to refugees, at the same college. I then taught Summer School at a Kurdish university, and from 2007-2011 taught English in various institutes and universities in Vietnam, where I was also an IELTS Examiner for Speaking and Writing. Then I taught for 2 years in Nairobi, and more recently in Peru and online. I’ve taught all ages and levels of General English, to groups and in private tutoring. My online lessons depend very much on the student’s needs, be they just conversation on any variety of topics, current affairs or more structured lessons focused on grammar, comprehension, etc. I have also done A LOT of IELTS preparation for speaking and writing. I am familiar with pronunciation issues and strategies for particular language speakers, and find teaching phonemes very useful. The history of English, etymology and ‘word families’ are beneficial in understanding and expansion of vocabulary. Most importantly, lessons should be interesting, relevant and fun!สื่อการสอนของฉัน

She is a great teacher！I have taken a few lesson with her and every lesson was nice and very customised. When I have questions or have field that want to focus on she gives me presize advice and prepares for lesson. I like her lesson and will continue.
