such a fun lesson! really enjoying the variety of topics we've been discussing. as always, marlene is extremely kind and patient, and does an excellent job of explaining meanings and grammar.

Marlene is such a lovely person. We laugh a lot during the lesson and time flies. We continued with household activities, prepositions and articles. I learned a lot, but never had the impression to "be at school", but rather to sit with a friend in a café. Thank you for this focused but relaxed learning style.

Today, I joined our session for the first time in five years, and she was just as wonderful a teacher as she used to be. We went over how we’ve been doing over the past several years, in Italian. She kindly took notes on what I had missed and explained the grammar I was confused about. It was great to come back! Grazie mille, Marlene! Ci vediamo presto.

I feel so lucky that I picked Marlene for my first italki experience. She explains things well, and I always feel comfortable asking for clarification for anything I’m not clear on. And she continues to be patient with me getting used to the technology we use for remote lessons. Grazie, Marlene, for another great lesson. 😊
