Hello! I’m Tiju, a Deaf teacher who uses several sign languages, including ASL, Indian Sign Language, Russian Sign, and International Sign.
I enjoy helping students communicate with confidence in real life—whether for daily use, travel, or meeting new people.
My lessons are simple, relaxed, and focused on practice. I also share Deaf culture and experiences to make learning more meaningful.
I teach both Deaf and hearing students. You don’t need to be perfect—just come ready to learn step by step.

I’m happy to help you learn ASL step by step. My focus is to help you communicate clearly, not just memorize signs.
You will learn correct signs, facial expressions, and how Deaf people really use the language in daily life. We’ll cover around 300 useful words and 100 important sentences, and we’ll practice together so you feel more confident.
If you’re planning to visit India, I can also teach Indian Sign Language and share how to connect with the Deaf community there.

In my lessons, we go through important things like vocabulary, handshapes, facial expressions, and Deaf culture. I also give simple practice, small tasks, and some quizzes to help you improve step by step.
Handshapes and facial expressions are very important in both ASL and ISL. They help you show the right meaning and communicate clearly. I will guide you to use them correctly in real situations.
We will also learn about Deaf culture, because it helps you understand how to communicate better and feel more connected.

Along with ASL, I also teach technology and technical skills to deaf students, helping them build valuable knowledge for their careers. Additionally, I work as an online home tutor, providing lessons to international students who are eager to learn ASL and technical skills. My diverse teaching background enables me to offer a rich and well-rounded learning experience.

I think I enjoy this teacher giving new words. I also hope to have more sentences to practise. Conversation is the best way to really practise the signs.

His class was interesting. Appreciate him for typing out the words I didn't know. I enjoyed the conversation part to learn new words and a list of words for revision and new knowledge. I hope to gain more confident in signing.
