こんにちは、Kanaです！北海道出身の日本語教師で、会話レッスンや文化を交えた楽しい授業が得意です。アメリカでの留学やヨーロッパ旅を通じ、異文化コミュニケーションの難しさも楽しさも実感しました。歌や写真、旅先での出会いが大好きです。「自然な日本語を話せるようになりたい」「自信を持って会話したい」という方、ぜひ一緒に学びましょう。
(Translation:) Hello, I’m Kana! A Japanese teacher from Hokkaido, specializing in conversational lessons infused with cultural insights. My studies in the U.S. and travels across Europe taught me the joys and challenges of cross-cultural communication. I adore singing, photography, and meeting people through travel. If you want to speak naturally or gain confidence in Japanese, let’s learn together!
I got qualified to teach Japanese in 2019 and I've been teaching Japanese to people in all over the world online and at a Japanese language school, so I know how to teach Japanese all in Japanese and I also can explain Japanese in English when it's effective. I'm always happy to answer any questions and help you fully understand.
2019年に日本語を教える資格をとり、語学学校、そしてオンラインで世界中の人々に日本語を教えています。すべて日本語で教えることも、必要であれば英語で説明することもできます。どんな質問でも大歓迎です。理解できるよう、ていねいに説明します！

かな先生 is an amazing tutor for anyone new to, or struggling with, learning Japanese. She’s patient, kind, and an overall warm person to talk to.
Her lessons are casual yet focused, and she’s always ready to help when you can’t quite find the right words. She takes the time to understand your needs and adapts her teaching style to suit you.
As someone who often struggles to express myself in the language, she’s given me both confidence and greater motivation to keep learning.
It has been a wonderful experience learning with her so far, and I look forward to our future lessons. I would highly recommend her on italki to anyone who wants to learn Japanese.

I’ve done about 30 lessons with Kana by now and I can tell you she is a really great teacher. She is great at explaining grammar, she easily adapts lessons based on my learning style, she encourages me with her positive attitude and I also get to learn fun details about Japanese culture. These lessons are definitely among my highlights of the week. Highly highly recommended!

I always enjoy taking lessons with Kana-sensei! The style and environment really encourages me to use grammar and vocabulary that I'm not fully confident with, allowing me to make mistakes and learn the corrections. Every lesson feels like it builds on top of the last and I can see my steady improvement under Kana's teaching as a result!
