I am a native French speaker with 12 years of experience teaching in Berlin and on Italki. With a year of specialized teacher training and a genuine passion for my work, I tailor every lesson to your goals—whether you want to perfect your pronunciation, master grammar, or engage in fluid conversation. Or even just to discover the beauty of French language.
I believe language learning should be natural and stress-free. In our first session, we will define your objectives to build a personalized plan. We can discuss anything from everyday life to complex global events; the more relaxed you are, the faster you will progress.
I am a patient listener and prioritize clarity. If a concept is unclear, I will provide alternative explanations until it clicks. My goal is to build your confidence so you feel completely at ease; I don't see mistakes as problems, but as necessary steps on your path to perfection.
Beyond French, I hold a master's degree in political science and have traveled widely, allowing me to refine my English and German along the way. I love learning, reading, cycling, watching films in their original language, and discovering new cultures—topics that often make for great conversation practice!

I’ve had several lessons with Anthony. They are very enjoyable, and he has been very helpful. I’ve taken both conversation sessions, and formal lessons and he has been great at both and is willing to adapt to my goals and needs. He always writes down vocabulary that I don’t understand in the chat, so I can make flashcards for them later. He has also helped me with grammar exercises to help me prepare for an exam. When I don’t understand a grammar point or some vocabulary, he is very patient and kind with explaining it.

He is really patient and talks slow enough to understand him. We always laugh and have a good time talking to each other. If I say something wrong, he‘ll correct me in the chat. I am sure that I‘m going to improve my french with his help!
