Jordan De Bono

I just started my 2nd year of learning Maltese and though the language is really challenging at times, I've enjoyed learning it, especially with an exceptional teacher like Jordan. I've come so far since the first lesson when all I knew was 'grazzi ħafna' and I can't wait to see how much further I'll be able to progress over the next year (and the years beyond that, too). I'm so glad that I met Jordan and that he continues to want to share this lovely language with anyone interested in it.

I thank Jordan for his patience, inspiration, professional and humane approach on the way to improving my English. Based on my own experience, I recommend Jordan as an excellent lecturer. I have been working with him since July 2022 and I can already see the first steps of improvement.

Jordan was great! He tailored the lesson to my needs on the fly. He really took the time to explain pronunciation and origins of the words (and the language as a whole).

彼のレッスンの内容、教材、宿題は英語力向上のために大変役に立ちます。特に日本人にとっては、以下の２点から彼のレッスンはお勧めです。①彼は日本在住であり、レッスンの時間帯が合わせやすいこと②彼は日本語も堪能なため、初心者であっても、問題なくコミュニケーションが取れること。英語学習ではありませんが、彼は、東京のおいしいマルタ料理のレストランやマルタのイベントを紹介してくれます。ちなみに、彼が紹介してくれたマルタ料理のレストランは、大変美味しく、私のお気に入りのレストランの一つになりました。

È passato esattamente un anno da quando ho fatto la mia prima lezione di maltese con Jordan. Dopo decine di lezioni, posso dire di essere pienamente soddisfatto dal risultato che ho ottenuto grazie al suo aiuto, alla sua costanza ed alla sua professionalità. Jordan sa trasmettere la bellezza della sua lingua e della sua terra: sa rendere ogni lezione diversa dalla precedente e ti accompagna passo dopo passo nel viaggio alla scoperta della favolosa e affascinante lingua maltese

It was another profitable lesson with Jordan. I appreciate the numerous opportunities to speak Maltese right away and that he's actively listening to my pronunciation and helping me figure out some of the trickier sounds. :)
