Satu

This was my 15th or 16th lesson and the first one since coming back from a week long trip to Finland — when I first started lessons with Satu I had studied for just over a year but had very little confidence speaking. In just a few months, I've really grown that confidence through lessons with Satu, and I don't think it would have been possible without her help! The lessons are always interesting and varied, from basic conversations to very specific discussions about video game characters and mechanics!

I just can't get tired of conversational classes focused on some specific topics. Satu sends some tips and materials in advance, but you get so much practical every-day vocabulary after each lesson in addition to that! It's a very effective way to discover which words and expressions you lack in real communication.

Trial lesson, was comfortable and informative. Satu was friendly and instructive. Looking forward to continuing learning with Satu.

Satu is a highly skilled professional teacher with a creative mind and a wealth of personal experience with other languages and cultures. She comes to every lesson prepared with a new topic to keep the conversation flowing. Endlessly calm and patient, with a twist: beneath that tranquil surface lurks a wellspring of bubbling imagination and intellectual excitement.

I am making progress with this really very difficult language thanks to Satu's clever personalised teaching methods. These classes are a delight!

We went through text about Everyperson's Rights in Finland. The text was pretty difficult but with Satu's help, I was able to translate it and learned many new words and grammatical structures along the way.
