I lived in Canada for three years and taught at Japanese language and culture schools for children in Vancouver and Montreal. I really enjoyed teaching there and this motivated me to complete my Japanese language teaching certification and pass the Japanese Language Education Proficiency Test. After getting the certificate, I started teaching Japanese.

In my lessons, I use textbooks (e.g., “Minna no Nihongo Ⅰ/Ⅱ,” “Genki Ⅰ/Ⅱ,” etc.) to teach in Japanese, just like in a Japanese language school in Japan. Whether you want to practice a conversation topic of your choice or want to study business Japanese, I would like to accommodate your requests. If it’s difficult to ask questions in Japanese, you can use English.

Shunpei is very professional and always tailors the lessons to suit my level and knowledge. We move at a comfortable but steady pace, covering a mix of vocabulary, grammar explanations, and practical exercises. I’m encouraged to complete tasks independently but receive guidance when needed. The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, which makes the lessons enjoyable and effective. I’ve learned a lot and always look forward to the next class.
