My name is Alex, I am from Paris and living in London. I am not a professional language teacher, but I have always been interested in languages and culture. I know that 10 years of language lessons in school classes can only achieve so much, and I also know that a few months of regular 1 to 1 conversational lessons can turn a beginner into a fluent speaker!

The best way to learn a language is to start speaking at the very beginning. Therefore, I will always encourage you to speak and express yourself, even with a few words. I also believe that you will learn better when you are having fun, so I will make sure my lesson is interesting and playful.

My teaching method is communication based, and I customize lessons to reach what you want to achieve. In the first lesson, I will ask what your motivations are. Are you going to France for travelling and want to grab some quick survival vocabs? Perhaps you want to learn slang and all the interesting things that you can never find in textbooks? Maybe your partner is French and you want to impress your in-laws with your language skills? I would love to hear about all that, and then we can start with the things that matter to you most!

Lesson went better than expected as I don’t speak a word in French. Alex was prepared and know how to make you smile while learning new skills. He have a plan for his methods and know how to put them in life. I do recommend and for sure will have more lessons with his. (;
