Andrea Olvera

Andrea is an excellent academic who shares an array of knowledge when it comes to not only language but History and Anthropology as well. She teaches by conversing in Spanish as well as challenging her students to use what Spanish they already know and combine it with English. Afterwards she expresses how to correctly say what you said in a respectful manner! It is an efficient way of learning and already see improvement in my own reading and speaking ability!

Andrea is a great teacher! She's very patient and also engaging when presenting new material. She is good about listening to my goals and catering our lessons toward them. Highly recommend!

I love Andrea! She is patient and knowledgeable, makes class fun, and will adjust to any student's needs. Andrea is expertly fluent in English, so no matter your level, even if you don't know a single Spanish word, you will have her from day one. And, if you're interested in conversation practice, she has a variety of wide-ranging interests and can converse on any topic. If you give her class a try, you will not regret it.

Andrea's classes have been very helpful for my learning of Spanish. She is diligent about offering corrections to my vocabulary and grammar and letting me know when there are ways that I could say something in a manner that is more natural. She describes nuances of phrasing and vocabulary clearly. Through our conversations, I also learn some regarding current events and life in Mexico City. I always enjoy our classes.
