I loved our first lesson with Katri! She is so supportive and helpful 🙏 as someone how is making their first steps in Finnish I felt extremely confident to try and use in speaking what I already know 🥰

The teacher was very nice and friendly. The lesson was interesting, the atmosphere was great, and she explained everything in a clear and easy way. Kiitos :)

Highly recommend. It is my 3rd class and i am enjoying it thoroughly. I am becoming less afraid of making errors when speaking, My comprehension has greatly improved already. Katri is able to provide on the spot explanations of where a word comes from, its etymology, how it used, provides examples, short clear grammar points. There is always plenty to discuss. The texts we are using are interesting because there are 3 levels of difficulty and each one not only teaches some vocabulary but also reflect on the meaning of the subject. For example, when the text was on food, there were on what it meant in terms of sharing, cooking different types of food, childhood memories etc . I am super happy and her classes are quite interesting which makes learning even more enjoyable as Finnish can be hard. She asked me initially how I learned best, what I would like to focus on language wise and I really apppreciated it and she definitely is using that feedback for our classes.

Amazing class. She explained all grammatical points on the spot in simple and clear manner, is able to give instant background on word meaning and roots. The conversation flows easily and is very instructive. I’m thoroughly enjoying my class. It’s challenging yet she makes fun and doable.
