Please note: I'll be on sabbatical from 10/2-10/4/26. Also I only accept lesson requests from new students who have sent me a message before booking in order to ensure we are the right fit. Hallo liebe Deutschlernende! I'm Theresa from Munich and I offer conversation based language support to intermediate and advanced learners of German. If you have done a few courses, feel a little stuck but are motivated to improve your German, I'm here to help. When I'm not teaching German I'm studying Spanish, I'm out rock climbing or running my small farm in Northern Spain. Choose between conversational practise for advanced learners and the B1 course - in both I focus on your needs as a person as well as a language learner. I studied German linguistics, literature and philosophy. In 2019 I started giving German lessons online and joined Italki in 2020. I've since given more than 3000 lessons on different platforms, and I love it! I also take online language lessons myself, so I know both sides of this enriching exchange. I prefer to think of myself as someone who supports you in your learning rather than a teacher that tells you what to do, because this is the way I like to learn a language myself. Focussing on a combination of guided conversation and problem solving my lessons are most useful for intermediate and advanced learners who want to break a language learning plateau, reach a new level of confidence or escape the boredom of conventional group language classes.
