Vanessa is the best German tutor I've had the pleasure of working with. Her lessons are packed with different topics and exercises all while being informal enough to where I feel comfortable practicing. She's also very open to suggestions, so if there is ever a topic I come across while studying German on my own that I would like further explanation on or practice with, Vanessa is more than accommodating. She has my highest recommendation for anyone seriously trying to better their German.

Another great lesson! I like that Vanessa uses google docs to type out the vocabulary and that she provides feedback in real time. She is patient and carries the conversation very well, so we don't run out of topics.

I have been taking lessons with Vanessa for about a year and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient and does and excellent job explaining the often difficult grammar and vocabulary structures within German. Everything discussed in the lesson in written in Google Docs which is useful for review after the class. Furthermore her positive and friendly attitude creates an atmosphere which makes learning comfortable without feeling embarrassment for making mistakes. Anyone considering signing up for a lesson with Vanessa should definitely not hesitate in doing so.

Vanessa is very patient in most of the conversations we have. There's no need to stress about everything. For anyone who is trying to improve their speaking and listening, it's better to focus on the topics that matter to you the most. The more you listen, you improve your listening skills. I would definitely recommend her!
