This is my 2nd conversation practice lesson with Tomo-sensei, and I really recommend him! He is patient, calm, and intuitive teacher. When I have difficulty expressing myself, he picks up immediately on what I want to say and teaches me phrases I can use next time in such situations. He encourages you to speak a lot so you can practice, and all the corrections and suggestions can be found in the google doc he makes. I look forward to more lessons with him!

Tomo Sensei is a great conversation partner who always corrects my mistakes in a friendly and understandable way. I've learned a lot from him already and plan to continue practicing with him.

I am a student preparing for the JLPT N3 exam, and I would also like to practice daily conversation. Tomo sensei is very skilled and patient. He always understand what I’m trying to say, even when I don’t know the right vocabulary, and he helps correct my mistakes every time. he also suggest alternative sentence patterns that can express the same meaning. The teacher’s Google Documents are very convenient as well, since I can go back and review them whenever I want. 私が一生懸命頑張ります。本当にありがとうございました。よろしくお願いいたします。

Working with Tomo this past year has been extremely helpful in my Japanese studies. He is very engaged throughout our 60 minute lessons, uses lots of webpage support during the lessons, and is very encouraging. Tomo is one of my 2 core italki teachers and I am very much looking forward to continued study with him.
