Hello! I'm Anthony from Canada! I studied finance & economics at university and have worked a variety of jobs in my life, but at the moment what excites me most is travel, meeting new people, learning new things and working with others to make a difference. English is my first language but I also speak 3 others...and currently adding a 5th. I learned each language with a different methodology, under different circumstances, so chances are I have a good understanding of where you are at & how to help you down your journey! Feel free to book a trial lesson to see if my relaxed, fun and completely tailored lessons are what will help you make your language-learning dreams a reality :)

I prefer to keep things rather informal and easy-going. I believe language learning is most effective in a fun and relaxing environment. No need to be afraid of making mistakes—it’s all part of the learning process! That being said, immersion is the best way to learn. I will spend as much time as possible speaking in your target language—even if it may be challenging at first! Ultimately, it's my goal to ensure that your time with me is USEFUL (after all, you are paying me $$). So even if you don't learn a lot on a given day (learning is not linear), I'm quite sure that you'll leave our lesson at least having had an intriguing conversation, or a good laugh.

I approach each student with a completely tailored approach. Our first lesson will be used to understand your current abilities, expectations & how I can help make your goals a reality. I also conduct periodic check-ins to assess progress and will adjust our learning plan if necessary. I keep the content of my lessons very practical, centred around things you're likely to come across in daily life, or as they relate to a special topic that you wish to learn more about. Apart from conversation practice, I also hold lessons on individual skills such as pronunciation, grammar, accent, etc. What kind of lessons you're looking to have and when is something we'll discuss on an ongoing basis.

I took Anthony's English class. Anthony is very friendly and knowledgeable. He made me have the urge to read more news and books in English, put more time in language learning as well as some deep thinking in the cause of the some phenomenon like the inflation recently. He has tailored his teaching for me, too. I am an intermediate level English learner. For me, his lesson is very relaxed, he listened to me carefully. If he didn't understand me he would ask me to say again. And he also made sure that I followed him as well. He is very familiar with the tech, he showed pictures and typed new vocabularies to help me learn better. I am very grateful and I recommend his lesson!
