My name is Stella, I’m a native German living in Spain. Since 2000, I’ve been working in financial markets, consulting, sustainability, podcasting, coaching, and female finance. Writing books is one of my passions, so my love for my mother tongue naturally led me to teaching German.
I’m also a dog lover – you might even meet Coco in our classes!

After several years of teaching, I would describe myself as an open-minded teacher who always keeps the focus on your success. Even though we might get to know each other well, I remain your teacher – here to guide you, correct you, and help you reach your German language goals.
I am a structured person, but I also love to bring creativity into my lessons. We will explore a wide range of topics – from countries and activities to the environment and daily life – so that you feel increasingly confident and comfortable in German.

I offer different types of lessons, but my main focus is on conversations. These include conversation practice for adults and teenagers, business discussions, career preparation (CV and job interviews), as well as targeted all-in-one training. Ich arbeite nun seit etwa zwei Jahren mit Stella zusammen und genieße unsere Unterhaltungen sehr, da sie stets sowohl tiefgründig als auch vielfältig sind. Für mich ist es nicht bloß ein gewöhnlicher Deutschunterricht, es geht darüber hinaus und ähnelt eher einem Coaching, bei dem man auch über emotional beladene Themen sprechen kann. Das finde ich großartig, vor allem auf einem hohen Sprachniveau, denn so kann man seine Kenntnisse weiter verfeinern und auf die nächste Stufe bringen.
Da Stella selbst Schriftstellerin ist, finde ich ihre Sprache besonders schön und ihre Wortwahl äußerst eloquent. Ich werde nicht müde, neue Wörter und Redewendungen zu notieren, die sie im Gespräch verwendet.
Außerdem ist sie eine sehr belesene und gebildete Frau, sodass die Gespräche mit ihr niemals langweilig werden.
Danke, Stella, ich lerne mit dir viel mehr als nur Deutsch.

Stella is a great teacher; her classes were helpful and motivated me to learn German outside of them. Conversation topics were very flexible; I could choose what I wanted to talk about, and she would give me homework to help prepare me for the next lesson’s topic.
