Hello everyone! I'm Melissa but you can call me Mel. There's a little part of me from all over the world but for the sake of time, let's just say that I am from New York City. I've been to over 40 countries and I hope to visit more. I'm all about culture, travel, languages and connecting with others. Having lived in Spain and traveled extensively to different non-English speaking places, I've had to push myself to communicate and connect with locals in order to make the most of my experiences. In addition to English, I speak French and Spanish and am slowly learning Portuguese and Italian. Looking forward to meeting you!ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I know what it's like to learn a foreign language-- from the exciting feeling when words are clicking to the not so exciting feeling when you may feel frustrated. I've been in your shoes so I can definitely relate. Over the last 15+ years, I've taught in formal and informal settings and have helped students of different ages and levels achieve their goals. During my time in Spain, I taught English in an elementary school and worked as a tutor. I also had a LOT of language exchanges with adults which was beneficial for both parties.
I taught elementary school aged kids at an IB school in NYC for 7 years. I am patient, likable, and strict--the perfect recipe for a great teacher.บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
For English learners with a fair or intermediate level, I believe that conversing is the most effective way to improve your skills so I am open to having a discussion about your interests and topics of your choice. If you prefer a more rigid and structured program, I am also happy to incorporate it into your class. With me, you'll feel so relaxed and comfortable that you won't even feel like you're in a class.
