I am a 22-year-old college student. I was born in Fujian, China. I had living in China for 15 years. I currently living and studying in Hong Kong. I speak fluent Mandarin and Cantonese. I can also speak English. I moved to Hong Kong when I was 18 years old. I know effective ways to learn a new language. I have enough patience to help you improve Chinese. I also hope that we can communicate some interesting topics in Chinese. I look forward to meeting you! 我是一名二十二岁的大学生，我在中国福建省出生，在中国广东省生活了十五年，目前在香港居住和读书，我会讲流利的普通话和粤语，我也能够讲英语，我在十八岁的时候移居香港，我知道学习新语言的有效方法，我有足够的耐心和你练习中文，我也希望我们能够用中文交流一些有趣的话题，很期待能够和你见面!

I have several teaching experiences, which gave me a certain understanding of Mandarin teaching. I practiced Mandarin for a few students. My course focuses on students’ best and grammar. I will guide students to communicate on different topics and try to select a few topics that students pay attention to for communication. Honestly, I was nervous about this because it was my first time using italki but Laura was so encouraging and made learning Hokkien very comfortable. I was happy to meet with her and was able to learn a lot of phrases to use with my grandparents. Thank you Laura!

Laura is an amazing teacher. She provided plenty of examples to make sure I understood the meaning of the words I did not understand. She also was very professional and guided me through watching and listening a video. It was a really wonderful 1 hour lesson! 谢谢老师！
