I’ve been taking lessons with Sally for almost a year now, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She’s someone I genuinely trust and enjoy learning from. Even outside of class, she’s willing to answer questions and help me understand things that I’m stuck on. She’s especially good at explaining the subtle differences between Chinese words and phrases, which has helped me sound more natural and understand the language on a deeper level. When I started studying with Sally, I was working at the HSK 3 level. Less than a year later, I’m now studying HSK 5 material. My grammar, writing, and overall confidence in Chinese have improved far more than I expected. Learning Chinese can be challenging, but Sally has a way of making difficult concepts feel manageable. She’s patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in her students’ progress. I’m grateful to have her as a teacher and look forward to continuing my journey toward fluency with her guidance.
