Joan is super friendly, approachable, and he’s clearly good at what he does. He understands languages and the process of 2nd/3rd language acquisition 😊 i was able to communicate what I liked in the past and he adapted the lesson to what suits me. Super excited to work with him more!!

For anyone struggling with the subjunctive, I'd highly recommend Joan as a teacher. Possibly the best explanations of its uses that I'd ever heard before, and I've heard and struggled to understand a lot of them!

This was just the first get-to-know-you lesson. It went fine. Joan was pleasant, a bit funny at times.

Joan is highly qualified and very professional. He tailors the class according to your needs. He's got a lot of energy but also manages to make you feel comfortable enough to speak.
