Hello! My name is Eva, and I’m a native Swede with many years of experience teaching English and Swedish. I have completed more than 5000 lessons on italki, giving me valuable insight into the diverse needs of students at all ages. My goal is to help learners develop their Swedish or English skills in a fun, engaging, and motivating environment. Having lived in Sweden, Israel, South Africa and Spain, I have experienced different cultures and languages firsthand.I am also fluent in Hebrew and Spanish. My teaching philosophy is shaped by my own experience learning languages in both traditional classroom settings and through natural immersion. I have found that learning in a natural, conversational way is by far the most stimulating and motivating method. For this reason, my lessons focus primarily on conversation, as speaking is the most effective path toward language fluency. Every class is personalized according to your goals, interests, and current level, whether you need help with grammar, vocabulary building, exam preparation, or improving overall confidence in speaking. In my lessons, we work with articles, books, role plays etc. I share resources with my students and create an individual Google document to track progress and organize learning materials. I am flexible, open-minded, and committed to answering all your questions so that you feel supported. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals and begin this exciting journey together.

Eva is super upbeat and very effective in her sessions. It feels a great use of time and I would highly recommend for those who are interested in committing to improving their language skills.
