Ciao! I’m Daniel, a TEFL-certified English teacher from New England (USA) with 14 years of experience teaching across Italy—Milan, Bologna, and Rome. I help students speak *real-life English* with confidence through lively conversations inspired by art, travel, and global culture. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced learner, let’s make English feel natural and fun! (P.S. Currently tackling Hindi—I get the language-learning struggle!)
I’m a warm and friendly teacher, who tries to make students feel comfortable speaking English, no matter what level of English they may be. I am empathetic and try to coach my students into feeling more confident when they are speaking English. I am passionate about culture and am happy to include conversations about museums, art and books in my lessons.

My goal is to get my students talking and using the English that they already know, or have recently learned. I vary my lessons with vocabulary and grammar, activities, games and conversation depending on the student.

I’ve taken 6 lessons with Daniel now, and he is an amazing teacher! He has an organized lesson structure that builds on itself week after week. We always start with conversations and telling stories in Italian, and then he teaches grammar or some cultural fun facts from his time in Italy. I highly recommend!

Daniel is an excellent teacher, and I say this as a colleague (I’m also a language teacher for non-native speakers). I always felt stuck with English, but since I met him, I feel like my speaking has really improved. His corrections and grammar explanations have helped me understand aspects of the language that were never clear to me during my school years. Plus, the materials he chooses for homework and lessons are very interesting. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to make progress with their English!
