Hello, my name is Ann, and I am a native English speaker. I started tutoring reading as a teenager and began to realize how much I love languages and helping someone else master a new skill. I enjoy the natural world - science, animals, spending time outdoors, as well as more indoor activities like cooking, painting, or music.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I enjoy being a teacher because I appreciate the delight of learning new things myself. Over the years I have taught writing, music, and art.
Many times the best way to learn is simply by having a relaxed conversation - you're just not going to be confident speaking English until you've done it for enough hours. Many everyday expressions only show up in conversation, and are not found in textbooks. I am also happy to point out and work with you on specific problems that are holding you back, until the right way has become easy and comfortable for you. My lessons focus on the ability to speak English in a normal conversation, though I'm happy to discuss and correct written materials as well. In the first lesson I like to find out what the student's interests are - the subjects they enjoy talking about in their native language, and also their goals for their new language, English. What things do you dream of being able to do in this language? Is there a test or presentation coming up you need to practice for? We focus going forward on what you most need and want to work on, and adjust as your skills and confidence grow.5.0
