Tetiana

It's been over a year of lessons with Tetiana already and I think it is time for an update. I can definitely say that she is still one of the best teachers I've ever had. She will not only care for you as a student but also as a person. She is open, communicative and will make sure that you progress at the pace most comfortable for you. I am very happy that I picked her as my teacher and am looking forward to many more lessons with her!

Tetiana is an excellent teacher. The lessons are very structured, and any questions that I might have are answered and explained very clearly. Working with Tetiana motivates me to improve my Ukrainian as much as possible. And besides her excellent pedagogical skills, Tetiana comes across as a warm, kind person that puts the student at ease. I strongly recommend her to anyone interested in improving one's Ukrainian. You will not be disappointed!

Tetiana is an ideal teacher! Ukrainian is a very complex language and I think learning with a professional teacher who actually understands the grammar is necessary. She is very professional and genuinely tries to help you learn the language. I appreciate that she prepares personalized activities and homework based on my level. I struggle with vocabulary, but Tetiana helps me not only by giving me the new words/expressions, but also by repeating the new words that I just learned so that they will stick with me. Most importantly, she is very patient, enthusiastic, and a joy to talk to! Thank you so much!

Tatiana is an experienced and professional teacher who listens well and gives her student options for how to handle correction and enlargement of vocabulary. In my case, I asked her to write down words and phrases that would be useful for me while I was trying to express myself to her. I preferred this to being stopped and corrected as I was speaking. At the end of the lesson, I have words and phrases to study that apply directly to the ideas I was trying to express, which is perfect for me. Tatiana gave me several options, including a more programmatic textbook approach. I wanted to emphasize speaking Ukrainian and converting passive vocabulary into active vocabulary, so we started the lesson with me describing my family and talking about what they do and where they live. I feel very satisfied that I will reach the level of speaking that I wish to reach by the end of my term.
