My name is Bulan, a Korean Hotelier with a Malaysian name, married to a Canadian, and living in Australia. I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, and relocated to Australia to pursue a career in International Hotel Management in 2000. I'm currently working at a coastal hotel in a scenic part of the Mornington Peninsula, just south of Melbourne, Australia.

My students tell me I am encouraging and supportive when it comes to creating an environment for them to practice the language they are learning. Having majored in French (with Education as minor) at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (Seoul|한국외국어대학교), I taught English and French throughout all my university years. Bulan is such a good and amiable teacher. She is teaching me daily useful phrases (not the typical book ones I’ll never use). She is patient and her pronunciation super clear (perfect for me, a super beginner). Time goes by super fast at her class :)
