I've always been into languages. As a kid, I spent hours reading books. As a teenager, I started watching series and translating their scripts and fanfiction for fun. In college, I studied linguistics (German major, English minor). As for work, I've been working as a translator for about 10 years and have been teaching Thai since August 2020.
I'm also interested in Buddhism, dancing, technology, etc. Buddhism enables a journey of self-discovery and its concepts laid foundation for many aspects of Thai culture, which I can tell you about. :)ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I have in-depth knowledge of Thai and a strong command of English and understand not just the main idea of a message but also the subtle nuances of its meaning and these are some of the things I can deliver to you as a teacher.
I have been teaching Thai as a foreign language since August 2020 (currently 4 hours/week).
Education: degree in linguistics, First Class Honors, Chulalongkorn University.
TOEIC score (Feb 2009): 965/990

My teaching style is much explained in the second part of my video (student's review) so please have a look. In general, my teaching is thorough, creative, interesting and fun.
My lessons are tailored to the needs of each student so I will cover the skills (reading, writing or conversation) and topics that you want to focus on. We can also have fun together by watching films and playing games where you will learn some Thai in the process. I will also explain the cultural aspects involved in the lessons so that you have greater insight into what you learn and can better utilize them in your writing or speech.สื่อการสอนของฉัน
