Salut ! Je m'appelle Mathilde et je suis française 🇫🇷 Je suis originaire de Limoges, dans la région du Limousin. Maintenant, je fais mes études à Paris. J'ai fait un bac Littéraire, puis une double licence de littérature et de sciences politiques. Je m'intéresse à la politique, l'histoire, la philosophie, la littérature... Un peu de tout ! Dans mon temps libre, j'aime faire du sport, écrire et dessiner.

J'adapte mes leçons aux niveaux, intérêts et objectifs de mes élèves. Durant le cours, j’essaie de parler principalement en français, mais je peux aussi traduire des mots et concepts si vous le souhaitez. I try my best to adapt my lessons to my student's levels, interests and goals. During the lesson, I will mainly speak in french as I believe the point of a class is to practice as if you were in France.

What conversation practices consist in : ❖ Classes will focus on interactions and discussions ; ❖ We can do debates, role-plays, talk about French culture, prepare for the DELF, etc ; ❖ Additional materials and homework can be provided if desired ; ❖ I can correct you when you are doing mistakes / on your pronunciation if you want to ; ❖ Classes are suitable for teens (but send me a private message before booking, please). I will use our first lessons to assess your level, goals and interests. My goal is to help you feel more confident and natural when speaking French!

Look. You may be considering whether to take a class. More likely, you'd be lucky to even have the chance to book a lesson with Mathilde. I'm currently writing this from Basque Country in France. A year ago, when I started taking lessons at home, I had some idea of improving my French. Now I can fluently talk to my Parisian coworkers, have long conversations with my French host family at dinner, and hang out with French friends I've made. This is all thanks to Mathilde. I'm deeply sad in a way though because I know this may have been the last lesson. But in the process I know I'm the luckiest person to meet one of the most incredible people I've met in my life. Mathilde is curious, kind, thoughtful, and deeply herself in a way that I've rarely seen in all my travels around the world. This might be my last message here, so I'll just say if you get to take a lesson with Mathilde while she is still here, I know you won't regret it. Sans spoilers, it might just even change your life ;)

It has been an absolute pleasure learning French with Mathilde. She always makes classes fun, is an excellent conversation partner and I feel I have made so much progress. Her persistence in constantly and gently correcting my broken sentences and pronunciation has been so helpful. She is an excellent teacher and has done an outstanding job focusing on what I am missing. I can't imagine where my French would be without her help. Thank You!

This is the 100th lesson with Mathilde! Just see how far I have gone in less than 2 years! I’ve gone from somewhere between A1 and A2 to DELF B2!! When I firstly met her, I can hardly say a whole sentence in French! For me, Mathilde is more than a good teacher or a good friend. All the lessons with her are very relaxing and interesting but I can practice my skills a loooooooot! They always make my day. I truly love my lessons with her and I can safely say that she is such a good and talented teacher.
