I’ve just completed 25 basic French lessons with Monsieur Barok, starting from scratch. He is highly professional and patient, especially when I keep repeating my mistakes. Since I often come to class tired from school and work, I truly appreciate his understanding and support. At the end of each lesson, he provides a summary of my progress and areas for improvement, which I find very helpful. I also enjoy our casual chats before the lesson begins—they help me feel more comfortable and allow us to get to know each other better. Since starting my lessons in the last week of January, I’ve improved significantly. I can now read French texts, though my listening skills are still a weak point, so I’m focusing on that. I look forward to continuing my lessons and making even more progress!

Tu as une attitude jeune et tu aides vraiment Wesley dans son parcours d'apprentissage. I just wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful work you are doing with Wesley. You have incredible energy in class, you are patient and we LOVE your sound effects! You have a youthful attitude and you are really helping Wesley on his learning journey.

Barok is the best teacher for French on all of Italki. He allows me a lot of time to speak, listens with genuine interest, and responds in a way that allows me to correct and upgrade my language effectively. He makes notes and provides feedback at the end of every lesson. The best thing that can be said for a teacher is that they hold themselves to high standards, and I can definitely say this about Barok. I consider any class I've taken with any other French teacher on Italki a waste of money when considering the experience I get with Barok.

I started taking classes with Barok in April 2025 and I’ve improved a lot since then (I hope 😂). He’s super organized and I really like the way his lessons are structured. You can tell he really cares about his students’ progress.
