Hi! My name is Hiram and I'm an english teacher from Miami, FL, USA! I am an extrovert, so I love meeting people from all over the world and having fun conversations. I've been teaching English for 10 years, 9 of them moving around Spain and France and now I'm back in Miami for a little while. My passions include, music, cinema/series, literature, philosophy, comics, cartoons, comedy, culture and much much more! I'm fluent in English and Spanish and speak quite a bit of French. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for over ten years now, and have even worked as the director of academics at a summer camp for students from abroad. I have a Bachelor's degree in English with a focus on creative writing and a double minor in philosophy and anthropology, a Master's degree in liberal studies, and I am TEFL certified, all from the University of Miami. I have a very laid back teaching style. I like my students to feel comfortable talking to me, like if you were just chatting with your American buddy from Miami in a cafe or hostel while traveling around the world. I've lived abroad in Spain for 7 years and in France for 2 years, and many of my best friends were learning English, so teaching this way comes very natural to me. I like to get to know my students over casual conversation and let it flow naturally into whatever topics interest us at the time while helping you expand your vocabulary, pronunciation, and listening skills! :)ประกาศนียบัตร
