Hi, I’m Meg.
I’m a professional Japanese teacher with over 12 years of experience and have taught more than 1,000 learners.
I’m also a certified Gyoseishoshi (immigration lawyer) in Japan, supporting foreign residents with visas and residency procedures.
My lessons are structured and focused on understanding.
I help learners build solid Japanese through:

• storytelling and reading
• practical, real-life Japanese
I also create story-based listening materials and explain Japanese culture and social context clearly, especially for those living in or planning to live in Japan.

Meg san is such a great teacher! The material she brings to the classes are diverse and effective! Oftentimes, I have to remind myself that our lessons are completely in Japanese because I am at a point now where I can understand!

Today I was easily able to follow along with the story text during the lesson, including almost all of the kanji. It was excellent practice and something I wasn't able to do until very recently, so the improvement is obvious. Arigato!!
