Kotori used pictures, nonverbal clues, and previously learned concepts to illustrate new concepts so i could lock in the intrinsic meanings myself. Structured lessons to maximize student talk time. Adjusted her approach in order to accommodate me when things got too hard or too easy. Reintroduced past concepts at opportune times to help retention. Most of all, she had the patience to take me from the very beginning, even when I was not sure I could learn another language. I am very thankful for every lesson of the past 8 months

多次的课程下来，基本已经不怕跟老师谈任何话题了，慢慢习惯了去听去组织去输出脑袋里想说的东西。虽然感觉自己进步挺慢的，但看着慢慢增加的笔记跟课时，享受过程的同时还是发现学到了很多的东西。どうもありがとう。

As always, Kotori goes above and beyond to ensure that her students are able to grasp the subtle nuances and differences with the concepts they are struggling with. Whether that be kanji, grammar or two(or more) seemingly similar words. I’ve said it before and I’ll said it again: I cannot recommend Kotori enough as a tutor. She is worth it all and more. You will not be disappointed.
