Marhaban! I'm Ali, an Arabic tutor from Syria with 6+ years of experience. Based in Australia, I help you speak confidently while exploring language and culture. Outside teaching, I love nature, hiking, and running an environmental project in Syria. I teach Modern Standard Arabic and Levantine dialect, focusing on all four skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. My lessons use conversations, PDFs, articles, videos, and presentations. Mistakes are welcome—they're part of learning. I also provide homework to help deepen your understanding.

As an advanced learner, I find Ali to be great for me. He's knowledgeable and encouraging. You should definitely meet with him and get practice speaking. My only feedback would be that he should elicit more speaking on my part. I think as he continues giving lessons he will become better and better. It's also worth noting that I feel very comfortable being on the call with Ali. He's not judgmental. He does not seem bored when we talk. He has interesting things to say and he's not discouraging. If you're an advanced learner you should definitely go with Ali.
