Have been taking over 70 lessons with her on italki as well as Preply and I loved every single one! The lessons are always very structured and well prepared. You get every material after class + homework for studying alone. It’s always super fun! She’s also a great teacher and notices immediately if I don’t understand something. I had my first ever Korean lesson with her and it made me continue with Korean until now<3 So if your looking for a kind, motivating and effective teacher, try this one!!

수민 is a patient and empathetic teacher, who is great at helping others with Korean. I have had over 40 lessons with 수민 prior to going italki and I am still satisfied with my lessons, with really highlights how great of a teacher she is. Since learning with 수민 I have seen my Korean language skills increase greatly and my confidence continues to grow with every lesson too. I am never made to feel deflated if I make mistakes as 수민 will correct them and offer explanations, and also give praise for just trying. This is really important as it grows confidence and with confidence comes improvements! 수민 uses as much Korean dialogue in the lessons as possible, which really helps to improve listening and speaking skills (and again grows confidence!) I hope to be a student of 수민 for as long as she is an online teacher and that explains how great of a teacher she really is.

This was a great start to a language journey. Soomin was really good at structuring the lesson and allowing me to re-activate my knowledge.
