cannot recommend Sylv highly enough. In addition to our conversations, his books on conversational activities are outstanding! I’m seeing new approaches to things I thought I knew. I though I could order at a restaurant in Paris…done it numerous times. Using my classroom French worked, but now I understand how to do it using current expressions and idioms. And that doesn’t even touch on the argot. Finally thanks to Sylv, I can better understand what I’ve been hearing (though this will take time, I see now). And his patience must be legendary!
