Hello! My name is Jared and I love the Scots language. I am excited to share my language with you. At home my family and I only speak Scots and Gaelic. I have been passionate about language for as long as I can remember. I love music, dance, video games, board games, and movies. I love to read although reading has always been a challenge for me and I love to write and translate. Preserving the Scots and Gaelic languages is a deep passion of mine and the only way they keep going is for more people to start using them. If you have any interest in learning Scots, even just a little bit, I suggest giving it a least a try and seeing what makes it such a great language. Thank you!ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I like to keep things casual and simple when learning. I feel that reading is one of the fastest ways to acquiring a language as well as conversation about things you actually care about. Gamification is another area I will be exploring because through games and story we can help to retain the new words and use ones previous to keep the momentum going. I have many books in Scots across many dialects and I myself do translation, so I have a lot of content to share for each lesson. I have spent years learning how languages work and what works when learning and what doesn't and I like to help people get over the fear of learning any language. บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
Lessons are custom to each student as I like to find what the students' goals are and focus in on those. I have textbooks for both Scots and English for the more academic approach and have many books in both languages to work on vocabulary, comprehension, reading, and speaking aloud. I teach multiple dialects for Scots, and for English I prepared for teaching both casual and professional speech.สื่อการสอนของฉัน

Jared met me where I am. I have been speaking Doric Scots for over five years, but my grammar and accent need improvement. He started welcomingly with an anecdote that allowed me to chime in where I felt comfortable and then we moved on to my weak areas once he had broken the ice. I am definitely coming back for more, and recommend anyone with a love of Scottish culture to do the same!

Great introductory lesson with Jared. Easy going and very conversational. Jared has helped me to get started on the road to learning Scot and gave me some real good pointers on pronunciation. I have already set up another lesson. I am confident that Jared can help me to get to a conversational level. I highly recommend meeting up with Jared if you are at all interested in Scots.
